The fire department at Lae explained nobody had called into report injuries or damage so far. A magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck at the west of Papua New Guinea in the beginning Tuesday morning local time, as stated by the US Geological Survey.
The epicentre of this quake has been 127km below the outside, the USGS said, at a spot some 66 km south of town of Lae at this country’s edge.
The quake shook regions of town of Lae, that’s this Morobe province’s funding, also struck 3 3 km northwest of Bulolo. Reports suggested that the quake was felt at the country’s capital Port Moresby, also the Bureau of Meteorology of Australia said that it had been felt in North Queensland.
